After almost eight weeks of enforced hibernation, on 05 May 2020, members of U3A Surf Coast emerged on a beautiful autumn day to resuscitate activities. Thirty-three members participated in a zoom get together, encouraged to see familiar faces and surprised that we had (almost) mastered zoom. Our grandchildren would be amazed.
Baz was on hand to iron out any technical hitches and talk soon turned to what could now be possible with our own Zoom Pro license. With the online AGM coming up on May 26th, we talked of other possible zoom activities such as ukulele, poetry, book or films groups. Network U3A is now offering a series of training exercises for tutors or anyone interested in using zoom.
